This is the breathtaking moment a diver gets up, close and personal with a whale shark.

The footage, taken in June, captured daredevil Kerenina Sunny's very first free diving experience on the coast of Gorontalo in Indonesia.

She is seen swimming behind the ginormous shark, who hovers in one spot inhaling huge amounts of salt water with its head pointed towards the surface.
